While there are many words we could use to describe the culture of the Elizabethtown Independent School District, one word stands out among them: Excellence.  Across the district, students, families, staff, and school leaders commit daily to the pursuit of Excellence in all that we do.  At Elizabethtown High School, we believe in creating a mindset of Excellence by asking two important questions everyday:

What Does Excellence Look Like?  How Am I Pursuing It?

In these questions we recognize our individual role in creating that mindset and building a Culture of Excellence across our school, district, and community.  

As the principal of EHS, I commit to building our foundation around the pursuit of excellence in all of our words, actions, and pursuits.  We will challenge ALL of our stakeholders, from students to leadership, to commit to this pursuit and share in the journey towards the destination.  Furthermore, we will celebrate and communicate examples of Excellence as we continue to build the future generation of leaders within our community.
